Airfreight network optimization is one of the core pillars of our application landscape. As a Global Air Logistics IS Network Optimization Software Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction and architecture of our air logistics solutions. Based in Wrocław, Poland, you’ll collaborate with international stakeholders and development teams to design scalable, secure, and efficient software systems that drive innovation and deliver real business value.

How you create impact

Design and maintain the overall software architecture for Air Logistics Network Optimization solutions.
Analyze business and technical requirements to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Define development guidelines, quality standards, and ensure adherence to best practices (e.g., Clean Code principles).
Oversee technical design and code reviews to maintain architectural integrity and software quality.
Coordinate with other architects and technical leads to align cross-functional solutions.
Support compliance with established processes, including documentation, testing, and release management.
Lead efforts to identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Provide mentorship and guidance to development teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

What we would like you to bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications preferred).
2–5 years of experience in software development (Java, Spring Boot, or similar enterprise technologies).
Proven expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms, databases, and modern infrastructure tools.
Experience in project or technical leadership, with the ability to guide teams and influence decisions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluent in English (Polish or other languages are an advantage).
