The Working Capital Business Partner is responsible to outline local requirements to the O2C KC, serve as an escalation point and liaison with the Business Units for Working Capital areas as assigned. The role reports directly to the National Working Capital Manager.
How you create impact
- Lead local Working Capital Analysts.
- Act as a liaison between the local organization and the AR Knowledge Center (Vancouver), facilitating communication, collaborating on the implementation of projects on both sides and outlining SLA requirements.
- Acts as the escalation point for collection issues from O2C KC (Vancouver) and supporting them with the BUs on Management level.
- Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) to improve the timing and accuracy of billing, with the goal of reducing the impact of billing differences.
- Drive projects throughout the organization with financial touch points, aiming to reduce the working capital (i.e. customer integration, reduction of terms for duties, migration to ACH, etc.).
- Support O2C KC with the customer contract review process (MSA, SOW, etc.), related to outside of standard terms & conditions.
- Support & supervise the preparation of business cases to send to Vancouver for credit risk analysis.
- Overlook the resolution of disputes with clients. Ensure compliance with agreed KPI (DMT) and utilization of standard tools.
- Drive RACI Model topics throughout the organization with financial touch points.
- Inform VAN KC of all local regulations and policies.
What we would like you to bring
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable.
- 3+ years of leadership experience and managing a direct reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of account receivables processes.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in MS Office, i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Minimal travel as needed.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
