Logistics Inventory Specialist

As an Inventory Specialist for Kuehne+Nagel,  you will monitor inventory accuracy, investigate causes of inventory discrepancies, conduct cycle counts, physical inventory, or use Excel to maintain complex spreadsheets. Come join us at our New Location in West Jefferson! We currently have have multiple shifts and schedules available.

 

How you create impact

  • Reconcile inventory and coordinate inventory procedures.Implement programs to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location.
  • Conduct system searches to locate products.
  • Work with management to implement loss prevention programs and improve inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records to facilitate shortage detection.
  • Perform weekly cycle counts, make system adjustments, and inspect/correct inventory diagnostics.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assign

What we would like you to bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of recent experience in a warehouse inventory role
  • 3 to 5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience working with 4,000+ SKUs
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
