As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. You will report to a Supervisor and move product throughout the site and load or unload materials using an order picker, reach truck, sit-down forklift, or other heavy material handling equipment. You will work Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, and will be paid weekly at $22.97 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential.
How you create impact
- You will operate all three types of forklift equipment—order picker, reach truck, and sit‑down forklift—to load and unload trailers, pick orders, and move or store products throughout the warehouse
- Verify and receive materials in inventory
- Your responsibilities may include palletizing and shrink wrapping
- Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment checks
- Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
- Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
- Complete tasks in freezer and cold-storage areas as part of daily responsibilities
What we would like you to bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of recent experience operating all three forklift types—order picker, reach truck, and sit‑down forklift—is required
- Can lift up to 50 pounds
- Can work overtime or weekends
- Can walk or stand for extended periods of time
