How you create impact
The Sea Logistics Pricing Specialist is responsible for providing quotes and cost information for inquiries from both existing and new customers. This role works closely with local customer service, development teams, sales, and our overseas offices to source accurate pricing and prepare Seafreight quotations for both regular and spot‑rate requests.
- Prepare and present quotes with selling rates to support the sales and customer service teams.
- Analyze, record, and prepare reports on quotation activity, identifying trends and performance against targets for review with the Branch Pricing Manager.
- Prioritize quotation requests to ensure high-value opportunities are processed as quickly as possible.
- Demonstrate the ability to take the lead in situations requiring quick decision‑making to secure new business.
- Collaborate with Sea Logistics trade teams to ensure the most competitive rate is provided based on the value of the opportunity.
- Communicate regularly with other teams such as Customer Service, Ocean Carriers, and overseas offices when applicable.
- Conduct timely follow‑ups on quotations, gather feedback, and take appropriate action to source the rates needed to close business opportunities.
- Leverage feedback from previous quotes to improve future pricing effectiveness and coordinate with Seafreight management for ongoing pricing guidance.

What we would like you to bring
- 2+ years of experience in Sea Logistics, ideally in Pricing or Operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Degree or diploma in International Business, Trade, Logistics, or related field (CIFFA certification an asset)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Skilled in negotiation, problem‑solving, and analytical thinking
- Detail‑oriented, process‑driven, and customer‑focused
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proactive, positive attitude with a strong sense of teamwork

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
