Warehouse Technology Specialist-3rd shift

As a Warehouse Technology Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will keep warehouse systems running during the shift by troubleshooting issues, maintaining data, supporting users, and acting as the bridge between IT and operations so orders, inventory, and locations flow correctly. At Kuehne+Nagel, our work truly contributes to more than we imagine.

In this role, you will be the primary system support between IT, regional operations management, and shop floor users as it relates to order, SKU, location management, system troubleshooting/support, and issue escalation of warehouse-related system issues. As a 3PL provider, we will count on your information systems knowledge to help drive system efficiency for our warehouse. You will work Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 pm - 5:30 am. 

How you create impact

  • Serve as the primary support for local site system operational issues
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of order and stock management issues
  • Collaborate with users to implement preventative actions based on your findings
  • Assist with ticket creation, issue escalation, and follow-up
  • Maintain warehouse (location) and customer (article) data
  • Identify process changes that may impact system documentation
  • Provide local user training as needed
  • Troubleshoot hardware issues, including printers, RF guns, and network equipment
  • Support release management activities by testing new functionality, verifying document changes, and more
  • Assist local users with coordinating reporting requirements
  • Participate in training sessions led by the IT team to provide first-level support

What we would like you to bring

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of technical experience working with 3PL or Logistics products including warehouse management systemstransportation management systems, and order management systems
  • 1+ years of operations experience working in warehousing or a supply chain environment
  • 1+ years of experience working with Blue YonderRed Prairie, SAP or JDA is preferred
