We are offering an Internship in the Continuous Improvement team within our Contract Logistics department in Torino (TO), Italy .
Your Role:
The intern supports the implementation of Kuehne+Nagel's continuous improvement program at our site for an automotive customer.
Focus is the preparation of operational excellence standards and participation in continuous improvement projects witht the aim to build a Continuous Improvement culture that the site will need to embrace.
Main responsibilities:
Support definition and deployment of Operational Excellence Standards (5S, Visual Management, Continuous Improvement Boards, SQCDEP implementation…);
Participate to continuous improvement projects to improve KPI / Productivity and follow sustainability projects;
Follow and validate the Cycle Time measurements in the projects;
Work together with the site management team to define Work in progress areas and consumables inventory management;
Support deployment of Stand Up Meetings and SQCDEP principles in collaboration with Production System team (Kuehne + Nagel’s Continuous Improvement program).
Skills and Experiences:
Educated to Bachelor/Master degree in Supply Chain / Management / Industrial Engineering
Proven interest in Supply Chain and Production environment
Demonstrates an interest for continuous improvement, having excellent communication and interpersonal skills is a must
Is process driven with strong analytical and problem solving skills, a Self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative and able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Advanced skills in MS office tools
Fluent in Italian, business level in English required
