We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join the National IT team at Kuehne+Nagel. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure, supporting daily operations, and ensuring consistent service standards across all Italian sites. Responsibilities include providing user support, monitoring systems, maintaining hardware, and driving improvement initiatives.
How you create impact
- Set up and maintain devices such as PCs, printers, RF terminals and workstations, while performing routine server maintenance.
- Provide operational and post-implementation support for IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth performance and timely issue resolution.
- Monitor servers, databases, and network components to maintain system stability.
- Verify daily backup procedures to safeguard data integrity and business continuity.
- Cooperate with Help Desk Support to resolve escalated issues across sites in Italy, offering user assistance both onsite and remotely.
- Contribute to small-scale network implementations and configuration of devices to support operations.
- Ensure IT security by monitoring vulnerabilities, reporting risks, and supporting compliance with corporate standards.
What we would like you to bring
- A technical diploma in IT or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar IT support role, preferably in the logistics sector.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and latest versions of Windows Server.
- A problem-solving and collaborative mindset.
- Availability to work in shifts and short business travels.
