Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a strategic supply chain leader to join our team as our Director of ISC Business Development. This role is ideal for an ISC expert with a strong background in supply chain operations, business development, and team leadership. As our ISC Development Director, you will drive the U.S. Sea Logistics Business Development team in identifying, developing, and closing Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) opportunities, with a strong focus on collaboration across Sea Logistics Sales and other sales channels.

How you create impact

  • Develop and implement the U.S. ISC strategy to meet Sea Logistics targets
  • Support the business development team to achieve volume and gross profit goals
  • Build and manage an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process
  • Collaborate with Key Account Sales and Business Unit leadership to drive strategic opportunities
  • Deliver ISC product training across the U.S. organization
  • Support RFQ responses, including proposal development and pricing strategy
  • Maintain communication with customers and ISC operations to identify upsell and retention opportunities
  • Partner with internal teams to support solution design and implementation
  • Liaise with Supply Chain Engineering to develop innovative solutions for clients

What we would like you to bring

  • 10+ years' of experience in supply chain operations, solution development, and business development
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and develop creative sales strategies
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-selling environment
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Please note compensation within the range will depend on skills and experience as well as location. Base compensation is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
