Are you passionate about precision, safety, and operational excellence? As an Equipment Examiner, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and readiness of our small arms equipment. This is more than just a maintenance role, it’s about safeguarding performance and supporting customer success.

This position is a cornerstone in guaranteeing the reliability and operational readiness of our small arms equipment. It goes far beyond routine maintenance, every action taken directly impacts performance under critical conditions. You’ll play a vital role in safeguarding functionality, ensuring precision, and upholding the highest standards of safety. Ultimately, this work supports customer success by delivering confidence in every aspect and every piece of equipment.

How you create impact

  • Responsible for ensuring all work is conducted in accordance with approved data.
  • Use trade skills and qualifications in conjunction with current approved data ensuring jobs are completed effectively
  • Be a Champion for Continuous Improvement (CI) and develop an understanding of continuous improvement tools and methodologies and participating in CI activities as required.
  • Actively participate and input into WIs/SOPs and process confirmations, assisting with the identification of necessary amendments, updates and rewrites as required

What we would like you to bring

  • Required: Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualification/Apprenticeship or equivalent. 
  • Desirable: Light Weapons experience, pistols, Machine Guns, Sighting systems and ancillaries   
  • knowledge of Health & Safety at work and experience of working to agreed targets.
  • Intermediate PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook 
  • Work as part of a team whilst being able to work indepentanly 
  • Drive, determination, and a track record in delivering continuous improvement
