As an Administrator at Kuehne+Nagel, your main responsibility is to efficiently procure, manage inventory, and account for a diverse range of items essential for operations. As the administrator for the team, you’ll ensure our site based in Telford has the right items, in the right quantities, at the right time.
You’ll manage end to end procurement and stock control for key operational supplies, to include corporate wear, workwear, PPE, packaging consumables, stationery, forms, and other essential equipment.

 

How you create impact

  • Continually review inventory stockholdings, raising purchase requests as required to replenish/order products
  • Administer the Stock Inventory held on the Interim Stock Management Excel Database, Interim Consumables Stock Management Database, and Interim Stationery Stock Management Database.
  • Process orders received from internal customers on the respective databases within agreed time frames.
  • Build a good rapport with internal customers in respect of orders placed, product sourcing, and associated queries along with dealing directly with Suppliers in respect of orders placed, discrepancies in consignments, and product sourcing
  • Constantly facilitate Purchase Orders ensuring that overdue orders are hastened with suppliers
  • Ensure all hazardous items are identified, and Safety Data Sheets provided when required.

What we would like you to bring

  • Understanding of warehouse practises e.g., picking, loading, receiving, stocktaking
  • PC Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook 
  • Strong organisation skills coupled with excellent levels of attention to detail
  • Analytical & problem-solving skills
