As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will be part of the team owning development of scalable, accessible and performant web interfaces to deliver intuitive user experiences that align with KN’s brand and business goals. You will also lead and be part of backend and frontend architectural decisions, and ensure long-term maintainability of our web platforms.
How you create impact
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and middleware for KN’s global web platforms.
- Develop and extend frontend features using Vue.js, Nuxt3, and TypeScript.
- Ensure code quality via automated unit, integration, UI, and performance tests.
- Model and optimise databases for high‑traffic, scalable environments.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to release planning with PO, Developers, DevOps, and QA.
- Improve performance and Core Web Vitals through code and asset optimisation.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure accessibility, consistency, and brand alignment.
- Continuously enhance the codebase through refactoring, clean code practices, reviews, and cross‑functional teamwork.
What we would like you to bring
- 5+ years of backend development experience in enterprise environments.
- Strong skills in Java, Spring Boot, Kotlin, and REST API development.
- Experience with middleware technologies and system integration patterns.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD workflows and Git-based version control.
- Understanding of security best practices and performance optimisation approaches.
- Nice-to-have: CMS experience (StoryBlok), microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with observability/monitoring tools and strong communication, collaboration, and growth mindset
