In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and integrity of statutory books and tax-related accounting across the EMEA region. Acting as a key link between corporate IFRS reporting and local statutory requirements, you will coordinate the accounting aspects of corporate income tax, transfer pricing, and transactional taxes.

How you create impact
Statutory accounting
- Map GAAP differences between IFRS (used in the main accounting books for consolidation) and the applicable local GAAPs of each EMEA country in scope.
- Coordinate the creation and ongoing maintenance of statutory books in the accounting system, adjusted for the relevant local GAAP differences.
- Oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of its audit with external independent auditors.
- Perform and maintain reconciliations between main IFRS books and statutory books, ensuring differences are fully documented and explained.
Tax accounting
- Coordinate the accounting aspects of Corporate Income Tax reporting, including the preparation of quarterly Tax Exhibits within the corporate webforms reporting cycle, based on positions determined by the tax function for each country.
- Support the accounting dimensions of Transfer Pricing, including identification and mapping of inter-company accounts subject to reporting, and preparation of inter-company transaction data for submission to external tax consultants in support of Local File preparation.
- Ensure that indirect and transactional taxes - including VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) - are accurately captured and properly controlled within the accounting books.
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and reporting experience in a multinational environment
- Professional accounting certifications (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIA) are preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and its application in group reporting
- Proven experience in statutory accounting and financial statement preparation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical mindset
- High attention to detail, accuracy and compliance
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
