As the IT Support Specialist, you are responsible for providing systems support across operations management, customers, and warehouse floor users. This role serves as a key liaison for order, SKU, and location management within warehouse management systems (WMS), while delivering shop floor technical support, troubleshooting system-related issues, and coordinating the escalation and resolution of warehouse technology incidents to ensure operational continuity and customer satisfaction.
How you create impact
Primary shop floor support for local site system operational issues including:
First level contact for shop floor / operations management issues
Basic troubleshooting of order management and stock management issues
Work with users on preventative action based upon findings
Support ticket creation / escalation and follow up
Ongoing support / coordination of WMS and related systems to include:
Warehouse (location) and customer (article) maintenance
Identification of process changes that will impact system documentation (i.e. work instructions)
Local user training as possible
Hardware (printers, RF guns, network etc.) troubleshooting with the assistance of helpdesk
Supporting release management activities led by IT team (i.e testing new functionality, verifying document changes etc.)
Support of local users regarding coordinating reporting requirements.
Participating in trainings led by IT team to be able to provide first level of support with minimal supervision
What we would like you to bring
3+ years experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, operations management with hands on warehouse systems usage/experience
Operational knowledge / ability to troubleshoot warehouse system (WMS) environments.
knowledge of customer requirements as it relates to system setup
ability to work between warehouse system capabilities and local operational processes (order management, inventory, receiving, and shipping)
Strong interpersonal skills (communication, teamwork, positive attitude)
