As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. Managing the training function by working closely with department managers + supervisors to identify training requirements, developing plans for training new + existing employees. You will focus on supporting the organization in achieving operational excellence by upscaling the knowledge + competencies of our teams through exceptional instructional methods, training, along with coaching + skills development. You will drive productivity organically + ensure the organization is always fully equipped for success.
How you create impact
Your Responsibilities
• To provide operational systems + general business field training to new users with effective training techniques + high quality documentation. This includes conducting online training + live training.
• To ensure that all training is accurately recorded in the company's Learning Management System (LMS).
• To monitor + report the completeness of training for both hard + soft skill competencies.
• To research methods + techniques in workplace training, remaining up-to-date on developments within the industry + the competition.
• To administer assessments to determine the effectiveness of training strategies.
• To create high quality training material as per KN standards using available digital platforms/technology (myKN/Wiki) as determined by the company.
• To drive productivity organically through upscaling the knowledge + competencies of the organization.
• To co-operate and align with other functions to rollout and implement projects for operations
• To support and carry out vendor and supplier system training on demand
What we would like you to bring
- Solid experience in ocean freight, familiar with ocean freight operational workflows and relevant systems
- Fluent in English,Cantonese is a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Collaborative, team-oriented, and results-driven.
