Contract Logistics Site Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities and team members on a daily basis. By doing this accurately, you not only contribute to the success of your team, but also to the day-to-day operations and success of the warehouse and distribution centers.  Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Operations Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. The right candidate will have a continous process improvement (5S) mindset.

How you create impact

  • Oversee Daily Warehouse Operations
    Supervise inbound receiving, outbound picking/packing/staging, accurate documentation, FIFO execution, and adherence to SOPs while ensuring productivity and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure Safety, Security & Compliance
    Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA, MSDS, and K+N QHSE standards; maintain physical security; conduct safety monitoring; and uphold high‑value, high‑security handling requirements.
  • Manage & Develop Warehouse Staff
    Assign work effectively, manage schedules in a 24/7 environment, lead daily meetings, train associates, support continuous development, and maintain an employee‑centered, union‑free workplace.
  • Maintain Equipment, Inventory & Facility Standards
    Ensure safe operation of material-handling equipment, maintain clean and organized work areas, uphold process/housekeeping standards, and safeguard inventory accuracy through proper processes and physical counts.
  • Support Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
    Collaborate with Warehouse Management to drive lean initiatives, improve productivity, optimize workforce planning, and implement/monitor operational, quality, and service goals.
  • Reporting, Documentation & Special Projects
    Complete required records and reports accurately and on time, support warehouse audits, and assist with special projects to sustain strong internal and external customer service.

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 5+ years of warehousing experience 
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution environment 
  • 1+ years of experience with leading and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Continuous Improvement 
  • Knowledge of various production and quality systems  
  • Proficient in Word, Excel (maintain complex spreadsheets), and PowerPoint
