As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. Your Role

Your primary objective is to develop, implement + drive the local product + business development strategy for our less than full container load product (LCL).

Your Responsibilities

You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives:

• To drive sales + key account managers in developing LCL opportunities, regularly joining sales calls.
• To work with the customer care + operational care teams (CCL + OCC) ensure the dedication + expertise to meet customer demands is deployed.
• To ensure the profitability of the product, proactively following up on discrepancies.
• To upload + maintain LCL selling rates (MSR) to our designated system (KN Rates) to support our pricing department with quotations, in particular with tailor-made selling rates for important opportunities.
• To negotiate trucking + container freight station (CFS) rates according to optimize the yield of the product, with the best service provider available according to our standards.
• To provide regular LCL product training to all colleagues engaged in activities relating to your portfolio.
• To develop tailor-made solutions for customers based on the product portfolio.
• To maintain relationships with co-loaders.
• To optimize yields by managing cargo flows via the best transportation option(s).
