How you create impact
- Be responsible for the daily management of an operation team of more than 15 people, including staff scheduling, skill training, performance review, new employee mentoring, so as to improve employee stability and satisfaction.
- Act as the first escalation handler for internal and external issues, undertake all types of complaints, abnormalities and emergencies, respond quickly and resolve them in a closed-loop manner, reduce negative impacts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Be deeply familiar with the KN 4PL operation system, system functions and standard processes, and accurately grasp the SOP and personalized operation requirements of each customer.
- Organize and host weekly customer operation meetings to synchronize progress, report KPIs, timely follow-up with the issue log
- Be responsible for the regular review, revision and update of Working Instructions (WI/SOP) to ensure that the processes are compliant, clear and implementable.
- Monitor the full-link KPI indicators of the control tower (including but not limited to OTD/OTP/Status Completeness/ Timeliness, etc.), issue early warnings for abnormal indicators, conduct root cause analysis and promote improvement to ensure healthy and stable operation.
- Cooperate with the Operation Manager to complete new customer onboarding and existing customer business expansion, participate in demand docking, solution implementation and UAT testing to ensure a smooth transition.
- Possess awareness of process optimization and innovation, proactively identify inefficient links, put forward improvement plans and implement them to improve the overall efficiency and service quality of the team.
- When the team is understaffed, be able to take over front-line operations with solid practical operation capabilities to ensure uninterrupted business.
- Assist the Operation Manager in participating in internal and external audits of pharmaceutical customers.
- Proactively share with customers the impact of any deviations on their shipments
- Work with local/overseas business managers, excellence mangers and overseas control tower colleagues for each customer’s business
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor's degree required;
- Proficient in 3PL export logistics and domestic transportation operations. Experience with dangerous goods is a plus. Familiarity with 4PL operating models or experience in 4PL operations is an advantage.
- Must have strong English listening and speaking skills.
- Possess problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented with a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills, capable of handling multiple clients/projects simultaneously.
- Able to adapt to the fast-paced logistics industry, demonstrate dedication.
- Experience in team management is preferred.
- Effective coordination with local, global, and client teams, with experience in cross-team collaboration.
- Proficient in logistics systems, ERP, and Office software (Excel for data analysis and reporting, PowerPoint presentations). Experience with TMS or Tableau systems is a plus.
