Job Purpose

The Centralized Pricing Lead is responsible for establishing, managing, and continuously improving a centralized pricing function for Road Logistics across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and China for cross-border and domestic Malaysia and SingaporeiThis role ensures pricing consistency, competitiveness, profitability, and speed-to-market, while working closely with country pricing teams, procurement, sales, operations, and finance. The role acts as the single point of orchestration for multi-country RFQs, strategic tenders, and standardized pricing frameworks.

Key Objectives
  • Drive pricing standardization and governance across countries
  • Improve RFQ turnaround time and reduce duplication of effort
  • Optimize buy vs sell rate structures to improve margin quality
  • Enable scalable, competitive, and transparent pricing models for cross-border business
  • Support growth strategies and key customer pursuits
Key Responsibilities
  • Centralized Pricing Governance & Strategy
    • Define and implement the centralized pricing framework for Road Logistics across countries in-scope
    • Develop standardized pricing methodologies (cost-plus, market-based, corridor-based, bundle pricing, etc.)
    • Ensure pricing aligns with regional strategy, target margins, and risk appetite
    • Act as the regional pricing lead for complex, multi-country, or strategic deals
  • RFQ & Tender Management
    • Own and coordinate regional and multi-country RFQs, especially for cross-border movements and domestic related RFQs for Malaysia and Singapore
    • Lead pricing consolidation across countries, ensuring:
      • Rate consistency
      • Cost transparency
      • Margin discipline
    • Partner with Sales to provide competitive yet sustainable pricing solutions
    • Support key account tenders, strategic bids, and renewal pricing
    • Ensure timely submission and high pricing quality standards
  • Vendor & Procurement Alignment
    • Work closely with procurement and country teams to:
      • Consolidate vendor rate sourcing
      • Benchmark rates across corridors and countries
    • Support preferred vendor strategies and regional framework agreements
    • Analyze vendor cost drivers (fuel, tolls, border costs, compliance, seasonality)
    • Maintain a regional buy-rate intelligence database
  • Pricing Analytics & Performance Management
    • Monitor pricing performance, including:
      • Win/loss analysis
      • Margin leakage
      • Rate deviations
    • Develop pricing dashboards and KPIs such as:
      • RFQ turnaround time
      • Hit rate
      • Gross margin vs target
    • Provide insights and recommendations to management on pricing trends and risks
    • Support periodic rate reviews and cost re-alignment
  • Stakeholder Management & Ways of Working
    • Act as the key interface between:
      • Country pricing teams
      • Sales & Key Account Management
      • Procurement
    • Drive clear ways of working between centralized and local teams
    • Resolve pricing conflicts and alignment issues across stakeholders
  • Process Improvement & Digital Enablement
    • Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes and tools
    • Support implementation of:
      • Pricing systems
      • RFQ tools
      • Costing models
      • Rate databases
    • Reduce manual work and improve pricing accuracy and speed
    • Ensure pricing processes are audit-ready and compliant

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in pricing, procurement, commercial, or operations within logistics or supply chain
  • Strong background in road logistics, preferably cross-border and regional operations
  • Proven experience handling complex, multi-country RFQs
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • Experience working in matrix and regional environments
