Responsible for supporting the daily management of truck operations and order fulfillment, while also overseeing the planning and scheduling of fleet resources to optimize operational efficiency. This role ensures that trucks are allocated appropriately, driver performance is maintained at the highest standards, and all orders are managed efficiently to meet customer demands. The Assistant Manager will also assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
How you create impact
- Assist in the accurate and timely communication of all orders to drivers, ensuring all order details are clearly conveyed for smooth execution.
- Coordinate with the planner and traffic to ensure that truck schedules align with order timelines and customer requirements.
- Track orders and monitor progress to ensure timely deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in optimizing fleet utilization through careful planning, balancing driver schedules, and vehicle capacity.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and meet any KPI requested

What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in truck operations, fleet management, logistics coordination, or order management, with a strong background in planning and scheduling.
- Experience in Transport Management Systems (TMS) and fleet tracking software is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in team leadership, overseeing driver performance, and optimizing fleet utilization.
