For our office located in the vibrant heart of Rotterdam, we are looking for an Operational Care Specialist, focused on FCL Export transports within Sea Logistics.
You will arrange the export of FCL shipments for our customers. Through your efforts, the goods are booked to the correct destination and picked up at the agreed location at the agreed date. Furthermore you will be assisting the export FCL Team with operational actions like planning deliveries. You will collaborate with your colleagues in overseeing the comprehensive organization of FCL transports for our valued customers. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your exceptional communicative, organizational, and analytical skills. How you create impact
- Maintaining frequent contact with the Customer care teams and take care of export shipments.
- Liaising with our carriers and subcontractors, as well as, with our internal stakeholders.
- Keeping track of shipments (both port-to-port and door-to-door).
- Ensure the timely delivery of the correct information and documents to the clients and your colleagues from other departments, as well as the providing information for correct invoicing.
- Commercial handling of orders, considering rates and nature of the orders.
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum HBO-think and work level
- 3-5 years work experience in a similar role or in Sea Logistics (FCL transports experience is considered a plus);
- Commercially minded and good communication skills present.
- Fluent in English.
- Skilled in MS office: intermediate level minimum
- Available for 40h per week, full time position.
