As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. How you create impact
- Manage the end-to-end billing process for assigned sea freight shipments, ensuring invoices are accurate and issued according to customer-specific requirements.
- Process and deliver invoices within established service level agreements (24–48 hours), ensuring timely and compliant billing.
- Monitor and resolve billing exceptions, including rejected, canceled, or non-stamped invoices, while following up on assigned RTQ tickets.
- Validate billing information, including rates, Incoterms, customer codes, currencies, and billing instructions before invoice issuance.
- Support the implementation of new customer billing processes, identify system discrepancies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational excellence.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation in internal systems, providing visibility to stakeholders and ensuring process compliance.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in international freight forwarding, ocean logistics, customs processes, transportation coordination, or billing within a logistics environment.
- Experience managing billing and invoicing processes.
- Solid knowledge of logistics operations, Incoterms, and international shipping documentation.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills, customer service mindset, effective communication, and results-oriented approach.
- Experience working with CRM or logistics platforms is a plus.
