Overview

The Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist, Exports oversees the precise and timely coordination of export shipments, ensuring full compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
You will join a dynamic Operational Care team dedicated to managing comprehensive export processes, including documentation, carrier coordination, and shipment tracking. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service while maintaining compliance, optimizing costs, and ensuring operational precision.

How you create impact

  • Create and manage export shipments in internal systems with high data accuracy.
  • Coordinate transport execution with carriers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Review and validate shipping instructions, ensuring alignment with compliance, routing, and rate requirements.
  • Issue and manage export documentation including bills of lading, VGM filings, and invoices within required timelines.
  • Monitor shipments, communicate departures, and manage any deviations.
  • Manage consolidation shipments (master files) and ensure proper execution.
  • Maintain cost and revenue accuracy through timely updates and invoice verification.
  • Resolve operational discrepancies, claims, and disputes in a timely manner.
  • Monitor carrier and vendor performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.

What we would like you to bring

  • 4 years minimum experience in Sea Logistics export operations or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and export compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling shipping documentation including bills of landing and export filings.
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Commercial awareness with focus on cost and operational efficiency.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate and resolve issues effectively.
