How you create impact
- Lead and manage the Air Logistics Operational Care (Export) team to ensure operational excellence and customer-centric service.
- Oversee and optimize export airfreight processes in compliance with international regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor operational performance, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Resolve escalated issues promptly and sustainably, maintaining service quality.
- Foster collaboration across internal teams (Customer Care, Gateway, Customs) and external partners (carriers, suppliers).
- Drive cost optimization and profitability through effective resource utilization.
- Support procurement and carrier relationship management, including pricing and RFQ preparation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for lean and efficient operations.
What we would like you to bring
- Minimum 5 years of operational air logistics experience with a strong focus on export.
- Proven knowledge of freight forwarding and international export regulations.
- Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory).
- Strong leadership skills with hands-on experience managing teams.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work across teams effectively.
- Commercial acumen and ability to optimize costs while maintaining service quality.
- Proficiency in commonly used airfreight operational tools and industry processes.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and maintain attention to detail.
