As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. What You’ll Do
- Process consignments and inventory as they move through the warehouse
- Complete Goods In and Goods Out procedures, including documentation review, product inspection, piece count, weight, dimensions, and damage checks
- Prepare temperature-controlled packaging solutions, including PCM, liquid nitrogen, and dry ice solutions based on client requirements
- Select and prepare temperature loggers and GPS trackers for shipments
- Perform and record quality checks for reusable temperature-controlled packaging
- Support cleaning, restocking, and system updates for packaging inventory
- Load and unload vehicles manually and with onsite forklift equipment
- Prepare consolidated consignments for transfer to other QuickSTAT facilities
- Enter key milestone information accurately into internal systems
- Monitor departmental mailbox activity, including packaging bookings and internal queries
- Communicate discrepancies clearly and escalate potential or confirmed issues to management
- Support shift handovers and maintain high standards of facility hygiene
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with temperature-controlled and/or time-critical consignments preferred
- Courier, freight, warehouse, import/export, transport, or life sciences logistics experience preferred
- Understanding of warehouse milestones such as Goods In and Goods Out
- Ability to work successfully under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
- Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external contacts
- Flexibility, initiative, and strong self-motivation
- GDP training or transportation-related qualifications preferred
