How you create impact
- Lead the Seafreight business in Chile and Bolivia, ensuring a profitable and high-quality product while driving compliance and continuous optimization of operational processes.
- Monitor business performance and profitability through regular review of data quality and management indicators, enabling effective decision-making and corrective actions when required.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships by visiting existing clients and potential prospects, supporting commercial growth through strong market knowledge and technical expertise.
- Provide leadership and operational support to the team, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues and maintaining service quality commitments.
- Negotiate with shipping lines and ground transportation providers to secure competitive rates and build a profitable and competitive maritime product.
- Analyze monthly P&L results and short-term business forecasts, maintaining control of business performance and future development.
- Support import and export tenders by ensuring the timely delivery of accurate information to maximize business opportunities.
- Maintain up-to-date maritime guidelines and operational requirements for internal stakeholders and international Kuehne-Nagel offices.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience within the Marine Logistics industry.
- At least 5 years of experience in similar positions.
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
- Flexibility, leadership and strong ability to lead and influence others.
- Proactive mindset, dynamic approach and strong results orientation.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
