For our office located in the vibrant heart of Rotterdam, we are looking for a an Operational Care Specialist LCL within Sea Logistics, you will arrange the LCL shipments for our customers. Through your efforts, the goods are booked and guided to and from the correct destinations and delivered at the agreed location, at the agreed date furthermore you will be part of the LCL Team contributing an important part of the logistic chain.
You will collaborate with your colleagues in overseeing the comprehensive organization of LCL transports for our valued customers. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to leverage your exceptional communicative, organizational, and analytical skills. This empowers you to monitor and potentially improve the financial aspects of the transportation services you manage.
How you create impact
- Maintaining frequent contact with Customers and CCL (Customer Care) and Customs teams and take care of LCL shipments.
- Liaising with our carriers and subcontractors, as well as, with our internal stakeholders.
- Keeping track of shipments (both port-to-port and door-to-door) and Crosstrade as well.
- Ensure the timely delivery of the correct information and documents to the clients and your colleagues from other departments, as well as the providing information for correct invoicing.
- Commercial handling of orders, considering rates and nature of the orders.
- Make LCL Quotations and maintain customer data in “core-log” and all the other TMS.

What we would like you to bring
- Secondary vocational education or higher;
- Experience in a similar role or in Sea Logistics (LCL transports experience is considered a plus);
- Commercially minded and with good communication skills:
- Fluent in English and Dutch is preferred;
- Fulltime available.
