As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. And by transporting medicines, toys and important machine parts, you are not only delivering goods, you are making small and big moments possible for people all around the world. How you create impact
- Billing of import and export customs services for external clients and internally to other KN branches.
- Creating invoices for various customs services after the customs procedures have been finalized.
- Resolving customers’ complaints (missing invoices, wrong invoice amounts, false addresses, etc.).
- Monthly financial closing.
- Extracting and processing statistacal data for EU INTRASTAT platform.
- Collaborating closely with our direct supervisor an other customs teams in Germany.
- Ensuring data accuracy and compliance, supporting clean financial results.
- Contributing to steady and well organized work flow to ensure good end of the month results.
What we would like you to bring
- B2 level of proficiency in German language enabling clear communication with our colleagues and clients in Germany.
- Excellent written and spoken English for both internal and external communication.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and accuracy in data handling.
- Ability to independently manage priorities, follow up on open items, and escalate when needed.
- Comfort working with finance systems (ACON+ or similar), with a willingness to learn new tools.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- A collaborative mindset and readiness to cooperate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Reliability, accountability, and a mindset oriented towards process improvement
