Road Logistics Inside Sales & Spot Pricing Representative

This is a customer‑centric commercial role that requires the ability to identify opportunities, develop long-term business relationships with internal and external partners, understand customer needs, generate tailored spot prices, and support the sales pipeline through proactive communication and solution‑oriented behavior.

How you create impact

  • Prepare, analyze, and deliver competitive spot offers for domestic and international road transport, ensuring accurate cost structure, service feasibility, and market competitiveness.
  • Actively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, contributing to the development of new and existing customer relationships.
  • Manage and maintain the Inside Sales pipeline, documenting opportunities, follow-up actions, and outcomes within the CRM/TMS platforms.
  • Monitor and respond promptly to customer inquiries, ensuring a high-quality commercial experience and timely pricing responses.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, and Key Account Management teams to validate capacity, transit times, and service options before issuing offers.
  • Analyze win/loss ratios, quotation trends, and customer behavior, sharing insights with the team to improve pricing strategy and conversion rates.
  • Ensure data accuracy when updating offers, customer details, and sales activities in internal systems.
  • Resolve discrepancies or incomplete commercial information by proactively collecting additional details from customers or internal stakeholders.
  • Share best practices, support team members, and contribute to team targets, ensuring alignment with national pricing and sales strategy.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing the quotation process, response times, and customer experience.

What we would like you to bring

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, Sales or a related field.
•    Minimum 2 years of experience in road logistics, pricing, inside sales or customer-facing commercial activities. 
•    Strong knowledge of road transportation services, cost structures, market dynamics and quotation processes, including legislation related to freight transport.
•    Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate commercial information clearly.
•    Proven customer interaction skills, especially in offering solutions, handling inquiries, presenting offers and supporting the negotiation process.
•    Experience in maintaining ongoing relationships with new customers, monitoring satisfaction and proposing corrective actions in case of nonconformities.
•    Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate rates, margins, feasibility, and win/loss patterns.
•    Advanced computer skills, particularly in Outlook, Excel, CRM stools, plus the ability to quickly learn TMS/Pricing tools.
•    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple quotation requests simultaneously, maintaining accuracy and short response times.
•    High attention to detail, strong time management and excellent organizational skills.
•    Proactive, solution-oriented and commercially driven attitude, contributing to overall business development and customer retention.
•    Professional behavior and appearance, contributing to the positive representation of the company.
•    Ability to track own sales performance, compiling monthly reports and presenting them for commission validation.
