You as Road Logistics Account Manager will be supporting Road Brokerage business. You will act as a liaison between customers, sales teams, carrier teams, and brokerage operations to ensure efficient transportation solutions, pricing support, and capacity procurement

How you create impact

• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales, carrier sales, and brokerage operations
• Understand customer transportation requirements and provide tailored logistics solutions
• Handle customer inquiries, service issues, and operational escalations promptly
• Prepare and provide transportation pricing and lane-specific quotations
• Collaborate with carrier sales and procurement teams to secure capacity and pricing
• Support carrier sourcing, procurement, and capacity planning activities
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers and carriers
• Monitor carrier performance and ensure service requirements are met. Negotiate rates, service agreements, and transportation solutions with carriers and customers
• Work closely with operations teams to resolve transportation disruptions and exceptions
• Participate in customer RFQ and RFP preparation and submission processes
• Support pricing analysis, solution design, and proposal development.
• Assist in contract renewals and business retention initiatives
• Monitor account performance against KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Prepare regular reports on revenue, profitability, service performance, and customer activity

What we would like you to bring

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in freight forwarding, transportation, brokerage, or logistics account management.
• Strong understanding of road transportation operations, carrier management, and freight markets.
• Experience with transportation pricing, rate negotiations, and RFQ/RFP processes
• Proficiency in TMS platforms, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of FTL, LTL, intermodal, and brokerage operations.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to grow revenue and improve profitability.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
