Reports to the Project Logistics Operations Manager and is responsible for managing customs clearance, ensuring compliant, efficient, and timely import processes. Acts as the subject matter expert for customs regulations, tracking, and advisory to support project execution.
How you create impact
1. Customs Operations
- Manage end-to-end customs clearance processes for import shipments
- Coordinate with brokers, and authorities
- Ensure timely clearance aligned with project timelines
- Resolve clearance issues, delays, and regulatory challenges
2. Tracking & Masterlist Management
- Develop and maintain shipment masterlist and tracking systems
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting of shipment status
- Provide clear visibility of cargo movement to stakeholders
3. Compliance & Advisory
- Provide expert advice on Indonesian customs regulations
- Ensure full compliance with import/export requirements
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation
- 4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with internal teams, customs authorities, and external partners
- Act as the key customs advisor
- Attend and support customs-related operational meetings
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and review customs documentation and reports
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all submissions
- Maintain structured and transparent reporting standards
6. Process Improvement
- Drive improvements in customs processes and efficiency
- Ensure adherence to company procedures and best practices
What we would like you to bring
Education & Experience
- Certified PPJK (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in customs clearance operations
- Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, or project cargo logistics preferred
- Experience handling Project Cargo or general cargo shipments
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations and procedures
- Experience with shipment tracking / masterlist systems
- Familiarity with sea freight operations is added advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools
Professional Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
