Job Description
Systems Analyst (m/f/d)

It's more than a job

In this IT role, you will manage, develop, and support the technology infrastructure that powers Kuehne+Nagel’s global systems and operations. This contribution is vital to making both special and ordinary moments in the lives of people a reality. In fact, your work enables our teams to deliver fresh fruit, time-sensitive healthcare products and much more to people all around the world. Working in IT at Kuehne+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine.

As a Systems Analyst (m/f/d), you will join the Global Observability Platform team to help shape how observability is delivered across the company. You’ll work with platform engineers building solutions using Grafana, Mimir, Loki, and Tempo to provide observability-as-a-service to hundreds of engineering teams at Kuehne+Nagel. Your role is to connect what the platform can do with what users actually need, ensuring the solutions are practical, useful, and aligned with business goals.

How you create impact

  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog with the Product Lead, turning the platform vision into clear epics and user stories.
  • Stay closely connected with platform users to gather feedback, encourage adoption, and address their needs.
  • Support the team’s agile process by contributing to sprint planning, refinements, and retrospectives.
  • Lead requirements sessions, workshops, and demos with stakeholders across the business.
  • Identify gaps between current platform capabilities and user expectations, and suggest improvements.
  • Define acceptance criteria and help ensure delivered features meet user needs during sprint reviews.
  • Monitor platform adoption and find ways to increase usage and value.
  • Help create documentation, onboarding materials, and self-service guides to make the platform easier to use.

What we would like you to bring

  • Degree in IT or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience in roles like system analyst, business analyst, or product owner in agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of Agile (Scrum or Kanban) and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders across teams, cultures, and technical levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, with empathy and the ability to handle competing priorities.
  • Strong analytical thinking, able to simplify complex issues and identify root causes.
  • Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and challenge existing approaches.
  • Fluent in English; familiarity with observability, DevOps/SRE, or tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or GitOps is a plus.
