As a Senior Software Engineer (m/f/d), you will design, build, and improve services and platform components that enable application-to-application (A2A) integration at enterprise scale. You will apply strong engineering skills and architectural thinking, using your knowledge of integration patterns and distributed systems to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
How you create impact
- Design and build backend services, APIs, and core platform components.
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, reliable, and easy to maintain.
- Develop and maintain developer-facing features such as APIs, onboarding automation, and configuration tools.
- Improve the integration lifecycle, including onboarding, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Apply security-by-design principles (e.g., authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding).
- Strengthen reliability through logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.
- Lead engineering practices, conduct code reviews, and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, DevOps, and other stakeholders, and support on-call operations.
What we would like you to bring
- Strong experience in backend languages (Java, Node.js, .NET, Python, or similar) and API design (REST, OpenAPI, AsyncAPI).
- Skilled in distributed system design, platform engineering, and cloud-native development (AWS preferred).
- Knowledge of integration patterns, messaging systems (Kafka, MQ, pub/sub), event-driven architectures, and data routing.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, middleware platforms, API gateways, and integration platforms.
- Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps tooling.
- Familiar with observability, monitoring, and diagnostics for distributed systems.
- Mentor and guide backend engineers, promoting strong platform engineering practices.
- Collaborative and communicative, with experience working in international teams and fluent English.
