As a Mid Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) with a keen interest in development, your main objective will be to develop and maintain software following the strategy of the Kuehne+Nagel group. This software development role will incorporate the initial design, development, and writing of code alongside suitable and appropriate testing and effective implementation. Whether you have extensive experience in this field or you are a graduate with some experience looking for a development opportunity in a global organization, we would be interested in hearing from you.
How you create impact
- Develop solutions for your allocated products – these products are varied and customized applications for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize industry best practices, adhere to our documented team coding standards, and keep relevant internal documentation updated.
- Functional test of newly implemented functions in cooperation with the respective product owners.
- Release management.
- Monitor delivered artifacts and products.
- Keep relevant internal documentation up to date.
What we would like you to bring
- 4+ years of Java development experience.
- Experience in software development with SpringBoot.
- Basic JPA and SQL knowledge (preferably PostgreSQL).
- Frontend development knowledge (preferably with Angular).
- Experience/knowledge of the development life cycle (GitLab, Maven, JIRA).
- Experience with Kubernetes, RabbitMQ / Apache Kafka and DevOps practices (Unix, CI/CD) is a plus.
- Experience working in an agile team-based development environment, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
