In fact, your work enables our teams to deliver fresh fruit, time-sensitive healthcare products and much more to people all around the world. Working in IT at Kuehne+Nagel contributes to more than we imagine.

As a Mid DevOps Engineer (m/f/d), you’ll work across software development and cloud infrastructure to make it easier to build, deploy, and run applications. You’ll create platform tools, automation, and delivery workflows as reliable software, using strong engineering practices and a DevOps approach. Your goal is to support teams with self-service tools, reusable components, and well-designed systems instead of manual work.

How you create impact

  • Design and build platform services, APIs, and internal tools for the data platform.
  • Create and improve CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and automation for provisioning and operations.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and contribute to system design decisions.
  • Use AWS and Kubernetes to support scalable and reliable platforms.
  • Work with engineering teams to improve developer experience and delivery workflows.
  • Encourage best practices across the software lifecycle and DevOps processes.

What we would like you to bring

  • Experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles, with strong programming skills (e.g., Python).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git workflows, infrastructure as code, and familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of software design, testing practices, and building maintainable systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, a sense of ownership, and the ability to balance quality with practical delivery.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, with fluent spoken and written English.

What's in it for you
