As an IT Team Lead (m/f/d), you will lead both the technical and people-management aspects of a software development team. You will be responsible for designing and guiding the development of scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, solve technical challenges, and make key architectural decisions. You will also help select the right technologies, frameworks, and tools to support successful project delivery. In addition, you will manage and support a team of software developers by providing leadership, mentoring, and clear direction. You will promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and a positive working environment while ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
How you create impact
- Lead and support the team by creating a positive, collaborative, and open work environment.
- Define and communicate a software architecture strategy that supports business goals.
- Take ownership of Java-based application development.
- Work with stakeholders to understand project requirements and turn them into scalable, efficient solutions.
- Design and document system architecture, including components, interfaces, and dependencies.
- Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, frameworks, and development tools.
- Guide and support developers to ensure best practices and architectural standards are followed.
What we would like you to bring
- Strong understanding of software architecture principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Strong experience in Java and Spring Boot development is required; hands-on experience with databases and messaging technologies such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, InfluxDB, RabbitMQ, and Kafka is highly desirable. Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js, as well as tools like Cypress, Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS, is considered a plus.
- Interest in agile ways of working and improving agile processes.
- Proactive team player with strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Eager to continuously learn and stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
