As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will design and build the data foundations that power our platform. You will create scalable, reliable, and reusable data solutions that help teams work more efficiently, make better decisions, and unlock more value from data. Using a Data Mesh approach, you will contribute to a modern, cloud-based data architecture for a data-driven logistics company. You will ensure efficient use of cloud infrastructure and help define standards that make data accessible, trustworthy, and reusable. You will apply best practices in big data processing, cloud development, and data warehousing, while ensuring smooth integration with existing tools and systems.
How you create impact
- Design and implement batch and streaming data pipelines.
- Build and optimize data ingestion and processing using Snowflake and cloud tools (e.g., AWS, Airbyte).
- Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all pipelines.
- Evaluate trade-offs between different data processing approaches.
- Collaborate with Data Product teams and support DataOps practices, including automation, monitoring, and governance.
What we would like you to bring
- Solid experience in Data Engineering and DataOps, including batch and streaming data processing.
- Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and platform concepts such as roles, permissions, and integrations.
- Programming skills, preferably in Python, with an analytical mindset to assess trade-offs.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
