National Expo & Events Logistics Business Development Manager

The National Expo and Events Business Development Manager will drive business growth across the U.S. by expanding and managing key customer relationships within the Expo and Events vertical. This role owns the end-to-end commercial journey for a dedicated portfolio of accounts, partnering closely with Key Account Management (KAM), operations, and global teams to deliver tailored, value-driven logistics solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise, a proven consultative sales approach, and the ability to uncover and win complex opportunities.

How you create impact

  • Drive national business development strategy for Expo and Events customers across assigned key accounts
  • Evaluate historical KAM performance and identify opportunities to improve penetration, growth, and account development
  • Analyze customer portfolios to identify focus accounts and target industries aligned with Expo and Events capabilities
  • Develop compelling value propositions in collaboration with global technology teams and local operations
  • Support KAM teams through customer engagement, opportunity qualification, pitch development, and tender launch
  • Lead and implement outreach strategies for domestic and international exhibitor lists
  • Manage and influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction
  • Stay current on Expo and Events market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics

What we would like you to bring

  • 10+ years of expert-level experience in business development, sales, or key account management, preferably within Expo, Events, or logistics-related industries
  • Proven track record of consultative selling, solution development, and revenue growth (up-selling and cross-selling)
  • Strong understanding of Expo and Events verticals and complex, time-sensitive logistics solutions
  • Ability to effectively manage and influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
  • Competitive, results-driven mindset with strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree required; willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~20%)
