Based in our Toyocho office, this role will work closely with operational leadership teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement structered continuous improvement programs, and support long-term productivity and quality enhancement intiatives across Contract Logistics sites.
How you create impact
- Drive and monitor Kaizen activities focused on productivity, process optimisation, and quality improvement.
- Deliver training and upskilling programs on productivity improvement tools and KN Excellence methodologies.
- Support implementation of annual operational excellence and certification activities across sites within scope.
- Validate and assess continuous improvement projects with focus on productivity, quality, and cost saving targets.
- Coach site managers and operational teams on continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies.
- Lead Deep Dive Value Stream Analysis (DDVSA) activities across warehouse and distribution operations.
What we would like you to bring
- 5-8 years' of experience within Supply Chain/Warehousing or Manufacturing enviroments.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required; Black Belt certification highly desireable. Yellow Belt will be considered.
- Experience leading continuous improvement, Kaizen, Lean, or operational excellence initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple improvement initiatives across different operational environments.
- Business-level Japanese and English communication capability is preferred.
- Valid Japanese Work Permit (for international talent).
