A NORAM (North America) Operations Manager is a regional leadership role responsible for overseeing business operations across the United States, Canada, and sometimes Mexico. This role focuses on maximizing efficiency, driving performance, managing budgets, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Manage and monitor global operations ensuring all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way. Improving operational management systems. Processes and the best practice of the new orders and inquiries and ensuring compliance with all agreed company policies.

To ensure that the needs of QuickSTAT customers are being satisfied consistently and that excellence in operational, logistics and customer service is promoted throughout the organization. Identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service and productivity.

How you create impact

  • Provide analysis and recommendations for internal/external decisions and problem‑solving.
  • Support staff in understanding and executing the organization’s vision and service goals.
  • Assist Division Management with project prioritization and business impact assessments.
  • Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes.
  • Manage operational projects using strong organizational skills.
  • Support Sales in developing service offerings and pricing.
  • Ensure RFP teams are informed of new service developments.
  • Adhere to all company policies.
  • Inspire and develop team members.
  • Promote teamwork, cooperation, and a positive work environment.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and work rosters.
  • Delegate and manage resources efficiently.
  • Lead ongoing development to improve individual and team performance.
  • Set clear objectives and review performance regularly.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QuickSTAT KN team.
  • Collaborate with regional partners to enhance CAPA actions for affected consignments.
  • Monitor quality control procedures for compliance and effectiveness.
  • Revise or eliminate ineffective procedures; implement new SOPs as necessary.
  • Conduct monthly KPI reviews with QA.

What we would like you to bring

  • Proficiency in Quick Enterprise Systems (QuickTrack, QuickOnline/RX, Quick Oasis).
  • Ability to utilize QuickTrack CS features and maintain client email/contact group updates.
  • Strong understanding of company mission, policies, and procedures.

  • Strong computer proficiency (MS Office required).

  • Background in air courier or freight forwarding.
  • Experience in biopharma or cold‑chain transportation.
  • Experience in healthcare or biopharmaceutical industries.
  • Customer service experience in related fields.
  • Knowledge of import/export, warehouse operations, and transport.
  • Clinical trial logistics experience, especially temperature‑controlled shipments.
  • GDP training and transportation‑specific qualifications.
  • IATA Dangerous Goods by Air certification.
