How you create impact
- Lead and support the governance, execution, and continuous enhancement of the Internal Control System (ICS) framework across finance operations in the Americas region.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert for internal controls, providing guidance on control design, execution, assessment methodologies, documentation standards, and evidence retention requirements.
- Monitor control performance through quality reviews and assessments, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities to strengthen the overall control environment.
- Coordinate remediation activities for identified control deficiencies, perform root cause analysis, and ensure corrective action plans are implemented effectively and on time.
- Collaborate closely with Global Finance, Knowledge Centers, and National Finance teams to maintain an effective control framework and drive a culture of accountability, governance, and continuous improvement.
What we would like you to bring
- Proven experience in Finance, Accounting, Internal Controls, Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years of professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of Internal Control Systems (ICS), governance frameworks, risk management practices, and financial processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Auditing, or a related field.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across multiple countries and organizational levels.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, leadership skills, and the ability to challenge control assessments while providing practical and value-added recommendations.
