How you create impact
As a Sea Logistics Operational Care Specialist, you play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You anticipate and address customer needs proactively, support the Operational Care team with timely and accurate task execution, and take ownership in resolving issues that may impact the movement of goods. Collaboration is central to this role since you will work closely with Customer Care Locations (CCL) and branches across Canada to ensure operational excellence and consistency. Your focus is to enable a seamless customer journey through high‑quality service, strong communication, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Work closely with the Customer Care Location (CCL) and promptly communicate any holds, delays, or deviations

Proactively respond to and resolve service issues within business guidelines

Process requests for ERS, diversions, and COD collections

Resolve missing payment issues (second invoice discrepancies)

Maintain and update the COD report

Investigate and report delays, including rail‑loading issues

Share news, service updates, and market information with CCL in a timely manner

Keep CCL informed of shipment milestone statuses

Monitor shipments using the T&T report

Resolve incoming disputes or complaints and recommend solutions to the CCL

Support account implementation and onboarding of new business

Conduct proactive BP audits

Arrange insurance coverage for cargo as required

Gather claim documents and facts when claims are involved

Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to Pharmaceutical and Dangerous Goods shipments

- Experience in freight forwarding or supply chain operations, ideally with exposure to Sea Logistics
- Understanding of forwarding processes, regulations, market dynamics, and carrier relationships

Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
