How you create impact
- Expert in Road Logistics including LTL, dispatch, brokerage, routing, cubic capacity, LTL spot quotes and full truckload knowledge.
- Determine best mode (LTL, Volume and TL) based on transit and cost, and partner closely with carriers.
- Perform daily planning of freight to maximize utilization and profit for clients.
- Process files according to all policies and procedures.
- Strive to meet customer service SLAs and KPIs.
- Perform solutions for any logistics non-conformities.
- Provide support and assistance to operational teams in task-based matters.
- Participate in various initiative in the spirit of continuous process and/or policy improvements.
What we would like you to bring
- 2+ years relevant experience in freight forwarding/supply chain/logistics industry.
- Truck Brokerage experience is required.
- Excellent customer service and clerical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- A team player who can work effectively with all levels of an organization.
- Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office suite including Excel.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative to meet deadlines and work independently.
