The Role

In a global logistics environment where regulations are constantly evolving, operational excellence depends on staying ahead of compliance requirements while maintaining efficient and reliable service delivery. As a National Air Logistics Operations Regulations Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our Air Logistics operations remain compliant, resilient, and ready to meet the demands of an increasingly complex regulatory landscape.

You'll combine operational expertise with regulatory knowledge to translate compliance requirements into practical business processes that support both operational efficiency and customer success. From customs regulations and trade controls to dangerous goods, aviation security, and industry standards, you'll help ensure our Air Logistics business operates with the highest levels of compliance and governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence: Lead national regulatory and compliance activities across Air Logistics, ensuring requirements are effectively implemented and embedded into operational processes.
• Strengthen partnerships: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external subject matter experts across Safety, Security, Dangerous Goods, Trade Control, Customs, ICAO, IATA, and related compliance functions.
• Deliver solutions: Translate regulatory changes and compliance requirements into practical operational procedures that support business objectives and service excellence.
• Collaborate internally: Work closely with Air Logistics Operations, Systems, Carrier Management, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on regulatory standards and implementation requirements.
• Achieve business objectives: Ensure compliance with national and international customs requirements, trade control regulations, aviation security standards, dangerous goods regulations, and industry governance frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen compliance processes, improve operational controls, and enhance the effectiveness of regulatory programs across the business.
• Customer excellence: Act as the escalation point for customer inquiries, audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance-related matters while ensuring professional and timely resolution.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations, with a strong focus on Air Logistics.
• Strong understanding of customs regulations, trade controls, aviation security requirements, and dangerous goods compliance.
• Experience managing regulatory compliance initiatives, audits, and operational governance frameworks.
• Strong project management, analytical, and process improvement capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
• Highly analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Resilient and adaptable in a constantly changing regulatory environment.
