The Role

As the National Air Logistics Healthcare Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and growing Kuehne+Nagel's healthcare logistics offering across Australia.

This role goes beyond managing a product portfolio. You'll be driving strategy, identifying opportunities in a rapidly evolving healthcare market, and ensuring our solutions continue to meet the highest standards of quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Working alongside local, regional, and global stakeholders, you'll help deliver innovative healthcare logistics solutions that support some of the world's most critical supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth: Lead the strategic development and expansion of Kuehne+Nagel's Air Logistics Healthcare portfolio across Australia.
• Identify opportunities: Analyse customer needs, market trends, and competitive insights to develop innovative healthcare logistics solutions.
• Lead product excellence: Drive implementation, adoption, and performance of healthcare products while ensuring consistent service quality across the network.
• Partner for success: Collaborate closely with operations, sales, quality, and global teams to deliver exceptional healthcare logistics solutions.
• Be the expert: Provide guidance on healthcare transportation, packaging requirements, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance: Maintain adherence to healthcare quality standards including HealthChain, CEIV, GDP, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement: Identify operational enhancements and lead initiatives that strengthen customer satisfaction, service performance, and business growth.

Requirements

• Industry expertise: Proven experience within freight forwarding, with strong exposure to Air Logistics operations and solutions.
• Healthcare knowledge: Solid understanding of healthcare logistics, pharmaceutical supply chains, and temperature-controlled transportation requirements.
• Product management experience: Exposure to product management, business development, or a strategic logistics role is highly advantageous.
• Regulatory understanding: Knowledge of GDP guidelines, CEIV standards, and IATA temperature-controlled regulations.
• Commercial mindset: Ability to identify market opportunities and develop customer-focused solutions that create value.
• Stakeholder management: Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across multiple functions and levels.
• Personal qualities: A proactive and solutions-oriented approach with a passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer success.
