Our Marine Insurance Account Manager is a key member of our Marine Cargo Insurance team at Nacora Insurance Brokerage, responsible for delivering exceptional service, accurate documentation, and reliable support to both clients and internal partners. Your work will ensure clients receive timely coverage solutions, professional guidance, and best‑in‑class service.
How you create impact
- Respond to customer requests for cargo insurance and arrange appropriate coverage with underwriters.
- Advise clients on coverage needs and identify gaps in existing policies.
- Prepare and coordinate certificates, policy documents, invoices, letters, and other client‑facing materials.
- Manage annual policy renewals and collaborate with the Account Executive on day‑to‑day service activities.
- Process referrals for shipments outside of policy limits and conduct regular audits to ensure service excellence.
- Review documentation for routine policy changes, additions, deletions, renewals, and cancellations.
- Research and gather information to support strategic decision‑making for accounts.
- Continue developing technical expertise in Marine insurance while completing additional duties as assigned.

What we would like you to bring
- 3+ years of experience in marine cargo insurance, particularly in the Ontario Territory beneficial.
- Active RIBO license required, level 1.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented, results‑driven approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Epic is considered an asset.
- Completion or enrollment in CAIB, CIP, or CRM designations is an asset.

Base wage is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
