As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you'll manage end-to-end warehousing operations for our clients. By doing so with precision, you'll contribute not only to your team's success but also to the day-to-day operations and success of the warehouse and distribution centers. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local shops for everyday lunches and family celebrations. Contract Logistics Quality Specialist works within Contract Logistics. In this case, She/He will operate for adidas Campus South, our new fully automated warehouse located in Mantua, which, with over 130,000 square metres, will represent an unparalleled example of excellence and innovation in automated technology operations. Working as part of the Customer Service team, the Contract Logistics Quality Specialist will conduct monitoring and supervising activities related to warehouse inventory processes with the aim of improve quality standards and reduce potentials issues with an impact on goods workflow.
With this aim, She/He will strictly collaborate with Operations, to share information and proper practices to operate correctly to ensure an efficient goods workflow.

How you create impact

  • In collaboration with Operations, review all relevant goods workflow processes, isolating issues, verifying correct processes, and ensuring that all required quality standards are always met
  • Analyse internal and external errors including customer complaints using root cause analysis, then implement preventative measures and optimization of quality processes
  • Develop, implement, and deliver quality control and easy to understand reports, charts, and/or dashboards to communicate information about right operational practices and potential issues
  • Develop and implement a daily inventory task routine capable to identify errors efficiently and quickly, and consequently coach Operations and other departments about right practices
  • Ensure that processes for inventory claims, returns, damaged goods handling are completed, and identify measures to reduce damages
  • Identify and resolve identified inventory issues via root cause analysis
  • Deliver all required of stock counts in accordance with customer requirements and KN guidelines

What we would like you to bring

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience preferably in multinational companies better if automatized or relevant studies in the field
  • Experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership in operational and fast paced work environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work in diverse teams, curiosity, and flexibility
  • Experience with metric oriented and data analysis-based work environments characterized by the respect of strict SLAs and deadlines and ability to prioritize issues and tasks by using ticketing systems
