How you create impact
- Analyze trends of root cause of equipment repair
- Perform a variety of Building and grounds maintenance functions
- Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment
- Detect faulty operations and defective materials, document and report issues
- Use scrubber on a weekly basis to maintain cleanliness in the facility
- Assist with a variety of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly warehouse inspections
- Ensure all equipment inspections and certifications are up to date
- Ensure all associate forklift certifications are current
- Ensure MHE batteries are maintained and watered on a regular basis
- Comply with safety regulations; maintain a clean and organized work area
- Use full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists; climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
- Perform other tasks as assigned
What we would like you to bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a maintenance role in a warehousing environment
- Ability to lift and move totes up to 50 pounds each, and occasionally a push and pull wheeled dolly with products up to 100 pounds
- Dexterity in eye/hand coordination, feet (foot pedals), manual (picking, pinching, holding, grasping), and wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)
- Can stand or walk for up to 10 hours
- Willing to work overtime and weekends
- English fluency
