How you create impact
As an Air Logistics Healthcare Customer Care Specialist with QuickSTAT, you will support time-sensitive healthcare, pharmaceutical, and clinical trial shipments by coordinating shipment activity, monitoring progress, and keeping clients informed throughout the process. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm and solution-focused in a high-pressure logistics environment.
You will plan and coordinate shipments according to client requirements, ensure orders are entered and communicated accurately, and work closely with internal teams and logistics partners to support compliant, timely movement of shipments. You will monitor shipments through track and trace activity, escalate client concerns when needed, and help ensure documentation, shipment updates, and internal communication are handled accurately.
This role supports temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical shipments, so accuracy, urgency, and client communication are key. You will also help identify opportunities to improve service quality and productivity while following QuickSTAT operating procedures, company policies, and required training standards.
What we would like you to bring
We are looking for someone with strong customer service and logistics coordination experience, ideally within healthcare, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, clinical trial logistics, cold chain, air courier, freight, or transportation. The ideal candidate is comfortable communicating directly with clients by phone and email, can build rapport quickly, and understands how to provide clear updates in a fast-moving environment. This person should be dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to think critically when priorities shift or shipment issues arise.
We are looking for someone who can handle pressure without losing focus, work well within a team structure, and bring added value to the group. Flexibility with scheduling is important, as business needs may require support outside of a standard Monday through Friday daytime schedule, including evenings, weekends, or holidays when needed.
Relevant experience may include:
- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or clinical trial logistics
- Cold chain or temperature-controlled shipment coordination
- Air courier, freight forwarding, import/export, warehouse, or transportation support
- Customer service in a logistics or regulated industry environment
- Shipment tracking, order processing, documentation, and client communication
- GDP, IATA Dangerous Goods, or similar logistics/compliance exposure preferred
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office or related systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on site in Jamaica/Queens, NY
