How you create impact
The National Air Logistics Aerospace Product Manager acts as a product & business manager of the Kuehne + Nagel Aerospace team with focus on contributing to the overall Aerospace business & product portfolio.
Main focus are the following: business development, solution, budget and results.
The position will ensure that appropriate support is applied to external customers, Kuehne + Nagel internal operations, product, and the aerospace Sales team.
The intention is that all parties will feel leading edge & optimised service-orientated solutions and knowledge & know-how are provided with respect to the movement of high value aerospace products (such as engines, wings, spare parts entire aircraft, wheels, cowls etc.) from local to global level.
What we would like you to bring
- Provide technical & know-how support to our teams globally with respect to ‘best fit’related to product deliverables, e.g. packaging, routes, handling, supply chain partners, systems and our competence centre´s
- Provide technical support to Kuehne + Nagel’s Aerospace teams by joining them at customer visits (if requested) and support RFQ processes
- Support and consult Kuehne + Nagel’s existing and potential aerospace customers in case of supply chain questions and requests coming up. Key purpose is to support from a technical & quality perspective, collate appropriate information and then provide value added advice in moving forward
- Create, change, update and maintain up to date a “Blue Net- Aerospace Community”
- Perform regular audits (process, procedures, trainings, operations) to make sure that all Regions are working in line with the Global Guidelines
- Keep constant communication with the National/cluster AA resources to identify relevant development, to bee included / excluded / promoted / demoted based on set strategy
- Define and monitor KPIs with operations that will be used to monitor our performance
- Be responsible to keep the system dedicated to monitor our products, while operations manage it with the network, and properly working in conjunction with other company’s systems (Airlog / KN Login) in interaction with the IT department
- Standardize and enhance the existing products and maintain all documentation and process flows. Ensure the documentation available online is always up-to-date. Enable innovation to be rolled-out in the Network
- Build-up a knowledge database containing supply data sheets, validation reports, brochures, presentations, case studies, questionnaires, newsletters and articles. Supply this material and support the Aerospace Product Team and Industry Knowledge Centre in Schindellegi
- Gather information and trends in the industry and feed back to the Aerospace Product Team to ensure that KN’s portfolio of aerospace supply chain solutions will be enhanced frequently and stays at the forefront of the logistics industry
- Overall responsible to grow the Aerospace market share and Aerospace products.
